Swingers duo has it Made
By Charles Lyons

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - "Swingers'' duo Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn will next spring reunite for the first time since that 1996 cult hit when they star in and produce a gangster flick.

"Made'' tells the story of two wanna-be Los Angeles mobsters who work as club boxers and construction workers. The pair is sent to New York in a comic and dramatic attempt to become "made'' men. Artisan Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to the film.

"The chemistry between John and Vince onscreen and off is incredible,'' said Artisan president Bill Block. "'Swingers' was such a critical favorite and when 'Made' came to us we acted quickly to bring this film into the Artisan fold.''

Favreau and Vaughn had intended to work together on Favreau's "Guam Goes to The Moon'' at Paramount, but the duo has fallen off that project.

Vaughn can next be seen starring opposite Jennifer Lopez in New Line's "The Cell.'' Favreau stars opposite Famke Janssen ("GoldenEye'') in "Love and Sex,'' which debuts at Sundance.
